Manomet Shorebird Manual PDF

Published in 2021, this is the most comprehensive document on managing for shorebirds available, applicable across a wide variety of habitats and including helpful case studies from real management scenarios. Also available in Spanish.

Helmers Shorebird Manual PDF

Published in 1992, this is the predecessor to the Manomet Shorebird Manual. It focuses on North America only and divides it into regional areas for conservation: Atlantic, Pacific, Interior, and Gulf of Mexico.

Shorebird Conservation Initiatives of the Americas

This is the landing page for shorebird conservation in the Western Hemisphere, including the Conservation Initiatives for the Atlantic Flyway, Pacific Flyway, and soon to include the Midcontinent Shorebird Conservation Initiative, currently still in press.
